Senior students volunteer their time to tutor these students and help them with any homework or projects they might be having trouble on.

The Homework Club was started years ago in an attempt to help students having trouble. The philosophy behind it is that students may be reluctant to ask teachers for help as they are embarrassed, but are able to express their problems to their peers. Another reason that it was created was to give older students who need community service hours or community service experience a place to get it without having to look very far.

Alex DesLauriers a frequent "homework helper" says, "Helping out with younger students has been very beneficial for me in the area of person to person relations." This simple quote illustrates the great dynamic that occurs between the homework helpers and their learners. Mr. DesLauriers also says that he loves helping with homework because it gives him a chance to, "give back to the community that [he's] been part of for four glorious years."

Homework Club is beneficial to all; the tutors gain leadership experience as well as receive community hours for their services. The students being tutored receive help with their coursework in a relaxed environment where they receive help from their peers. Homework club is run Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:20pm to 4:20pm. Students can be helped with subjects from Math to English. Senior students can help with organizational skills, test review, and homework. Snack and drinks are provided for both the tutors and students being tutored. Homework club is a great free way to learn and make friends.
