School Policy - Academic Enrichment at Lawrence Park Policy Pages 1) Credo Introduction Students who wish to pursue their studies in English, French, or Math at an enriched level may select Advanced Placement courses in these subjects. The Advanced Placement Program, recognized internationally, is administered in association with the College Board. An AP course consists of university level course work and a standardized examination written in early May. Students pay additional fees for AP examinations. These students who perform satisfactorily on the examinations will receive first year university credits at universities in Canada and world-wide. For a list of universities recognizing AP credits, please see the College Board website, www.collegeboard.org/ap. For additional information on AP at LP, contact Mr. Don Hedrick (416-393-9500). |
